We're getting closer to our annual three-course Terrace Holiday Luncheon.
The time, date, and location already have been shared -- 12:30 p.m. Friday, December 13, at McGreivey's Restaurant in Waterford. Now we can reveal the menu, price, and reservation deadline.
Organizer Janice Dessingue is accepting reservations at $32 per person, which is $2 less than last year. Checks, made payable to Janice, must be mailed or hand-delivered to her at 6 Hyland Circle no later than Tuesday, December 3.
The luncheon will consist of a salad course, your choice from a list of five entrees that will be provided at the event, plus dessert. Coffee, tea, water, and soda are included in the price, or there is a cash bar.
Again this year we ask attendees to bring items to be donated to Street Warriors of Troy, a local social help organization. Last year we donated socks, but this year the group is asking for winter gloves of all sizes and colors (for men, women, and children). Please do NOT gift wrap them.
