The usual weather pattern for the annual Terrace Summer Picnic goes something like this:
1. Everyone arrives, sets up the food and the lawn chairs.
2. Conversation and dining begin.
3. Rain arrives, pretty much ending the event.
This year the sequence changed a bit on Sunday. This time the rain began first, then we ate, drank, and chattted while the inclement stuff quickly disappeared. Plenty of sunshine ensured.
