| A worker creates one of numerous leaf piles. |
Skyview Landscaping crews descended on the Terrace today to wrangle the fallen autumn leaves into submission.
A bit of touchup trimming was done before a gazillion workers armed with leaf-blowers, rakes, and shovels went into action.
We're just five weeks from the official start of winter, so now's the time to finish up the annual prep chores. Among them:
- Bringing in or covering outdoor furniture
- Slipping winter covers over air-conditioning units
- Shutting off the water supply to outdoor faucets (and leaving those faucets in the "on" position to be sure all water is drained and doesn't create a freezing situation)
- Making sure your exterior lights are in best working order for the safety of the community (LED bulbs are recommended for long life and best illumination)
